I am a recent convert to pottery, having had an earlier career in textiles, millinery and teaching art. A little late to the party I have found the thing that I really love to do. 

I love to cook and am always rustling something up, for my hungry family. I make pottery with a purpose, vessels to eat, drink and serve from. Bowls and dishes that complement and enhance the effort put into delicious home made food, mugs that sit warm and comfortable in the hand. 

All pots are food safe, oven proof, and machine washable 

I live just a few miles from Ancrum, where I have a lovely pottery shed, and my husband Christopher has a furniture making business. Having visited Art @Ancrum for many years it is a great treat to be joining in for the first time.
