Jayne Freeman

Based in the beautiful town of Jedburgh, I find inspiration in the abundance of nature that surrounds me. I primarily use acrylic paints, working with finds foraged whilst walking with my family, aswell as vegetables, fruits and the occasional vistor to our garden. I aim to keep my paintings simple, each with a single subject. I enjoy

capturing the colour, light and texture, letting the natural vibrancy shine through. My subject matter alters across the seasons, with each painting capturing a particular moment in the cycle of the natural world.
